FAQS

What is covered during the free consultation?

The 1 hour free initial consultation is an opportunity to see if we are a good fit for your family. We are interested in getting to know your student and want to understand what concerns you may have about the college planning process. During this meeting, we will provide an overview of our services and how they can meet your needs.

When is the best time to begin working with College Advising?

Many high school students are very busy juggling academics, extra-curricular activities, community service, part-time jobs and their social life. Beginning to work with us as a 10th grader, allows career interest validation, standardized testing, college selection & campus visits to be completed over a two year period. Spreading out these college-related activities over 10th-11 grades makes the college admission and application processes less stressful for both students and parents. Submitting applications early in senior year also enables families to be considered for need-based or merit aid before colleges have given out most of their financial aid. Many families seek college consulting services the summer before Junior year.

Do you guarantee admission to college?

We offer advisory services only and make no claims concerning the guarantee of admission to specific colleges or universities. Admission decisions are based on multiple subjective factors and are made solely at the discretion of the colleges and universities. Families who engage our services accept that we are not making guarantees or promises regarding admission decisions.
